This year Running For the Heroes will be held at Towle
Park at 9:00am on September 9th. Opening ceremonies will be held at 8:30 to honor all first responders, telecommunicators, jailers,
correctional officers, veterans, and Texas Highway Dept workers. From the proceeds
of the benefit run, Darrell Campbell will receive seventy five percent and the remaining twenty five percent will be distributed evenly between the fire department,
DPS, and for Darrell Campbell to disperse to injured or needy responders.
After the run we will hold
a bowling tournament, "Bowling with the Badge" at Snyder Lanes. Money from
this tournament will also be distributed evenly. The bowling tournament
will start at 1:00pm.

Knockerball
Just what is a KnockerBall? A Knockerball is a single chamber inflatable
sphere with inner handles and adjustable shoulder straps. Knockerballs range
from 1.2 Meters to 1.5 Meters and the size or fit is predicated on your
height. Knockerballs can be used singularly to perfect your rolls, flips,
and wheels or can be used with two or more to enter a realm of rip roaring,
knocking fun times. People who use Knockerball are sometimes referred to
as Knocker Ballers and they describe the sensation as almost defying gravity.
This sport is so new and we are proud to be instrumental in introducing
one of the coolest products to come along in a long time to the U.S.A. Till
now, Knockerball or bubble soccer has been gaining traction in Europe, Australia,
Japan, and elsewhere. Leagues are opening up all over the United States
so isnt it time you “GET IN THE BALL” and see what you've been missing?
